Hmm. I am sad. I was all jazzed up to go to school and get a belly button ring with someone and then she went and got it herself already. Yeah. I know I didn't seem into it at first, but later I thought, why not? And I've been coming around to it ever since. I sat in church yesterday looking at people and thinking, do THEY know I'm going to get one? And if they did, what would they DO? *maniacal laughter* So, the question is, if I go get one on my own, will it still be a fun special thing? Or will it jsut be me and my fat lonely loser self getting one to feel compensated for my life of not drinking this year? And does not getting one mean I can drink? *I have rum in my closet!* No, I don't. lol. But seriously, I still kinda for really and truly want one. So if I go to get one, will you go with me for support? (You know who you are!!!) Also, will you all still love me if I get one?

Four more days. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Also notable in church yesterday: A really cute college student kept turning in his seat in the pew ahead of me and looking at me out of the corner of his eye. Score one for the home team.

Aside from boys and piercings, I also must drop either Chinese or Japanese and it is tearing me up. Advice? I know only I can make the final decision, but I like to make informed final decisions. ^_^ I love and miss you all.

1. Chinese is generally considered to be more difficult for English speakers to learn as a second language than Japanese, although both are bloody difficult.

2. I'm probably just getting old but...navel piercings? That's a bit of a cliche now, isn't it?

Yes, Chinese is considered to be more difficult, but after the time I've had in Japanese, I think I'm ready to stand up to the challenge. Any challenge, really. As long as it isn't Japanese. Or maybe I'm just chicken.

And yes, navel piercings! ^_^ Nah, you're not old. But why so disdainful?

Meh, just seems like the sort of thing everyone-and-their-sister did back when...well, when I was young enough not to worry that I might be getting old!

Dude, you rock. :D

I can be a happy/supportive/deviant bystander, if you like.

You go right ahead and pierce whatever you want, dear--I would only discourage you to save you from pain. : P Keep Japanese! You like it. And I can't wait to see you again! It has been a very long time.

*hugses*
